Feminine Enchantment

We live in a world that is at war with the Feminine; at war with women; with girls—with the very idea of Womanhood itself.
Outside forces try to redefine us, to force us into black sheets and to ridicule the very idea of us. Most Left Hand Path occult circles place a great value on the masculine virtue of physical might, they often chase the honour of being the strongest warrior in the village. This approach limits itself purely to the masculine ideal of might over matter.
Feminine approaches to magick are—literally—the most enchanting we have. Feminine enchantment is a weapon that germinated with the Ancients, then grew and tightened its tendrils into the Future with our continued Praxis of Feminine Arts.
We champion the true Feminine, the Dark Feminine. We wish not to espouse “feminism”, which creates a false equivocation between men and women. Nor do we promote some passive, childish “love and light” ethos. We wish to speak for the true Venusian spirit, the true nature of women that has been present from the Ancients and reaches towards us now in the living Future.

Ancient Enchantment
Two millennia after the fall of Mesopotamia’s ancient empires, it is hard to grasp the region’s magic as a cultural concept. Steeped in Western dualism, we often view magic as distinct from religion—yet Mesopotamians saw no such divide. For those living in Ancient Iraq and the surrounding lands, magic was simply part of everyday life—a guiding principle used to understand natural phenomena and their consequences, both positive and negative.
Celestial omens, for instance, could reveal an Assyrian king’s imminent peril—or foretell victory in battle. Magic also protected against the curses arising from unwitting sins, and magicians wielded an array of specialties—from the scientific to the medical, literary, and religious. Far from irrational, this ancient magic was the foundation upon which Mesopotamians navigated their world.
For women in Mesopotamia, enchantment—as a part of magick—was often aimed at ensuring their husband’s continued faithfulness and affection. To this end, they might have composed a spell, or acquired a specialised ring, amulet, ointment, or knotted cord designed for this specific purpose. Similarly, accounts mention the courtesan Hermione, who wore a girdle of flowers with a golden inscription entreating her lover: “Keep loving me forever, and do not become angry if another man holds me”. This suggests Hermione needed to maintain the loyalty of her clientele through magical means. Both the mother/wife archetype and the whore/prostitute archetype entrusted in enchantment to achieve their aims.
The Greeks similarly enjoyed the use of enchantment, they employed mystical tools known as charaktēres or magical signs/signals to harness supernatural power. These symbols resembled asterisks or lines ending in small circles. One such esoteric implement was the ‘excellent love charm’ or philtron, a spell described in ancient texts. The ritual involves engraving a tin lamella with various charaktēres and names, then rolling it up with materials for enchantment—such as a lock of hair or piece of clothing—of the object of their desire and casting it into the sea. Practitioners were also instructed to use a copper nail, salvaged from a shipwreck, when inscribing the lamella.

Contemporary Enchantment Methodology
Whilst the methods of the Ancients are still perfectly applicable to modern day pursuits, one may also use the methods of our Temple of the Star. These have been passed down from cunning woman to cunning woman over the centuries, and are enshrined in occult texts. The below methods can help with ensnaring an individual and maximising your results with said ensnared persons.
Empathetic Magick
To empathize with a person, one must focus intently on that person and imagine becoming them. This can be achieved by visualising how the individual would react to a specific event or situation, and then consciously and deliberately acting out that response. Extending this identification until a sense of sympathy is felt with the individual, one can then introduce, through both visualization and the chanting of a phrase that encapsulates the desired change, the transformation they wish to evoke in that person. This method of influence can be boosted by meditating on the desired results whilst one exercises intensely or whilst one is climaxing.
The creation of models/figurines/drawings that represent your desired target and desired result can also be beneficial.
Sexual Magick
When working consciously with a partner, the male initiates arousal in the female by first caressing her spine and shoulders with the tips of his fingers. Then by stimulating her with his tongue in the intimate areas, before the sexual union begins.
At the peak of the union, the female visualizes her desire in a chosen manner. She may rhythmically chant a phrase, describing this desire as the union reaches its climax—or silently voice it in the same way.
The female plays the central role, as she is the conduit through which the power flows.
In the initial stages, it can be helpful for her to visualize energy flowing down to her and through her from the sky and stars above. If the male is performing the ritual without the female's full participation and knowledge, then it is his visualization and (silent) chant that guide the process. This form of the ritual is inherently less powerful than the former.
Conversely, the female may conduct the ritual without the male’s knowledge, which does not diminish its power, except insofar as she may wish to increase its potency by using sexual enchantment to ensnare a man and involve him. In this case, the enchantment serves as a powerful prelude to the ritual itself.
The ritual concludes in the usual formal manner, through relaxation and a simple phrase such as “It is completed”.
